Code of ethics & my approach to tarot
Obligatory disclaimer: In certain jurisdictions, a tarot professional is required to disclose to you that tarot readings should be for entertainment purposes only.
If your inquiry involves the law, finance, or medicine, then you should seek the advice of a licensed or qualified legal, financial, or medical professional. Also, tarot readings cannot replace qualified mental health care.
That being said, I personally use tarot in conjunction with professional mental health care. Many people incorporate tarot into their spiritual and religious practices, and still others consult tarot as they would a coach or mentor. It’s up to you to decide how tarot fits (or doesn’t fit) into your life.
What to expect when you book a reading
When you request a tarot reading, you will be asked to pay via PayPal and submit additional details including your email address and your question or topic. I will confirm your request via email within 24 hours and let you know when you can expect to receive your reading. If your question does not align with my code of ethics, I will give you the option to ask a different question or to receive a refund.
Once your reading is ready, I will send it to the email address you provide during the payment stage. Turnaround time depends on the complexity of your question and how large the spread is, but in general you can expect to receive your reading within 5 days. Expedited readings are available at an additional cost.
I welcome requests for clarification on the cards that are drawn for your reading, but you will be asked to purchase another tarot reading if you have further questions which were not addressed in the original request.
Your reading will always be kept confidential and will be stored securely in my records for at least 12 months. You may ask me to resend your reading at any point during that 12 month period.
Please note that I may contact you after you receive your reading to ask for feedback on your experience. You are in no way obligated to respond, but any feedback you do provide helps me create a better experience for you and other future clients.
